national opportunities

The First Tee junior golf program doesn’t just get kids on the course, it offers them exciting opportunities for growth. With the help of our corporate partners, we host a series of events to our more advanced participants, allowing them to meet new people, play some golf, achieve greatness, and show off our nine core values in action. A full description for each event can be found by clicking on the title for each event. Click on the “View Application” button to see the application and eligibility requirements for that opportunity.

Applications for national opportunities must be submitted online. Please contact Coach Monte Martin for the application link and an application code if you are interested in applying for one of these national opportunities.

summer intern program

Each summer, we hire current participants and alumni to work in our summer intern program. Interns are responsible for delivering programming during our summer camps, helping with outreach programs and other duties within our organization. This is a great opportunity to make some summer cash in a fun and flexible work environment. We will also work with your school to help you get credit for your internship if needed. Many of our past summer interns have returned to The First Tee of Fort Worth as a part of our coaching staff. To be a paid intern, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a high school student completing 11th grade or higher or currently in college.
  • Be currently enrolled in the Eagle or Ace level (If under 18 years old).
  • Have been in The First Tee program for at least 4 years.
  • Have previously volunteered in some capacity with The First Tee of Fort Worth (classes, camps, Jr. Advisory, etc…) or have been a previous intern.

Internships are paid at $8/hr. and work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm most weeks during June, July and the first half of August (20-30 hrs. per week). If you are interested, please complete the form below and we will contact you to schedule an interview.
