PGA Jr. League
Sponsored by the PGA of America, PGA Jr. League brings friends, families, and communities together through the game of golf by offering team-based, competition golf for kids of all ages and skill levels. First Tee — Fort Worth is proud to host its own section of PGA Jr. League captained by our very own PGA member, Coach Charleton Dechert. Participants register to play in the 13U or 17U leagues where they will be assigned to a team named after some of our major North Texas professional sports teams: Rangers, Mavericks, Cowboys, and Stars. Groups of participants on each team play a predetermined number of holes in a scramble format. Each week, teams are matched against each other to determine the number of points earned by each team at the end of a match. Points are accumulated among teams after each match to determine a champion team at the end of the season.
