In order to volunteer, you must have completed a volunteer application, submitted and approved background check, and complete our child safety training online course. First Tee — Fort Worth is about so much more than golf – it’s about strengthening our community and you can help, whether you play golf or not. You only need to enjoy working with young people, and have a willingness and ability to serve as a positive role model of mature, responsible behavior to our participants.
First Tee — Fort Worth needs volunteers throughout the year to help with our fundraising events, including our annual fundraising golf tournaments, various opportunities during the Charles Schwab Challenge, and many more. We also are in constant need of talented people to coach Life Skills Programming at one of our many program locations.
The volunteer application process has three elements that must be completed in this order.
Complete the Volunteer Application at the bottom of this page.
You will receive a separate email containing link to the background check and child safety training through Safe Sport. The email will also contain your unique access code for the site. These emails are sent out once a week on Monday’s and/or Tuesday’s. You will receive a confirmation email once your background check is complete. You can complete the child safety training while you wait for the background check results.
