2021 Golf-A-Thon

All Golf. No Rules.

Friday, October 15th at Rockwood Park Golf Course (1900 Rockwood Park Dr N, Fort Worth, TX 76114)

Become one of the 36 special guests and relay teams playing from 7 AM to 7 PM to help us raise at least $100,000 to support our program!

What is a Golf-A-Thon?

A Golf-A-Thon is a unique event where individuals and teams raise money based on pledges received towards the amount of holes they can play in a 12-hour period. Golfers can play anytime between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM on the day of the event or they can accumulate 108 holes throughout the month of October leading up to the event. Pledges can be made per hole or as a one-time, flat donation.

How to Participate

Our fundraising site, Pledge It, makes it easy to create your own page and/or join a team, or simply make a pledge! Players will be able to build their personal pledge page and even send electronic messaging to potential donors! Making a pledge? Follow the simple steps to select your favorite player or team! We ask that individual participants or teams raise at least $1,000 for the cause. Every dollar helps us move one step closer to building game changers for the future!

Play as an Individual

Take on as many holes as possible in 12 hours! You can also commit to 108 holes (6 rounds) to be played throughout the month leading up to the event. All holes must be completed by 7:00 PM on the day of the event to count towards the Golf-A-Thon. Click the button below to set up your personal Pledge It page! Once created, you’ll receive a link to your personal pledge page that you’ll be able to send to all of your potential donors!

If you are interested in any of the below sponsorship opportunities, please contact Janet Herald at jgherald@thefirstteeftworth.org for more information!

Presenting Sponsor – $5,000

Our golfers play at a “break-neck” pace, thus requiring the golf course to be completely open and free of weekend warriors! Our Presenting Sponsor receives on-going recognition from First Tee – Fort Worth and their logo on our event page and a banner in the staging area!

Player Hospitality Sponsor – $1,000

Playing 12 hours of golf is hard work – so we like to pamper our participants! We provide each player with a goodie bag that will keep them motivated throughout the day as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Thanks to our Current Sponsors!

Does My Score Matter?

No way! Who wants to slow down, count, and write their score on a scorecard? Our goal is to play fast, so you’re only responsible for keeping track of the number of holes you play (plus – we have a dedicated team to help you!)

Come join us on Friday, October 15th! Every hole counts in our race to Meet the Match of the Charles Schwab Challenge Grant and your participation in this year’s Golf-A-Thon is more important than ever! YOU can help us build game changers for the future!
