The First Tee junior golf program doesn’t just get kids on the course, it offers them exciting opportunities for growth. With the help of our corporate partners, we host a series of events for our more advanced participants, allowing them to meet new people, play golf, develop key skills for success, and show off our Nine Core Values on a national level.
Applications for national opportunities must be submitted online with approval from a First Tee coach or staff member. The application and selection process is not only a tool for these opportunities, but also serves as valuable experience for participants as they apply for college or begin their careers.
Below you will find the schedule of 2021 National Participant Opportunities. Application deadlines will be released in February 2021. Click on each event to find out more details. If you have questions about applying or need assistance, please contact Jason Rocha.

Summer Intern Program
Each summer, we hire current participants and alumni to work in our summer intern program. Interns are responsible for delivering programming during our summer camps, helping with outreach programs and other duties within our organization. This is a great opportunity to make some summer cash in a fun and flexible work environment. We will also work with your school to help you get credit for your internship if needed. Many of our past summer interns have returned to First Tee — Fort Worth as a part of our coaching staff. To be a paid intern, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a high school student completing 11th grade or higher or currently in college.
- Be currently enrolled in the Eagle or Ace level (If under 18 years old).
- Have been in the First Tee program for at least 4 years.
- Have previously volunteered in some capacity with First Tee — Fort Worth (classes, camps, Jr. Advisory, etc…) or have been a previous intern.
Internships are paid at $8/hr. and work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm most weeks during June, July and the first half of August (20-30 hrs. per week). If you are interested, please complete the form below and we will contact you to schedule an interview.
